

The 5 points model ENZA-2 Air Terminal is a high performance and a high efficiency lightning rod thanks to its electrogeometric design (which was carefully studied and designed) that increases the lightning attraction power and therefore decreases the possibility of failure of the equipment before the lightning discharge. This was confirmed in the laboratory tests N° 102 18766 (See comparative table of the results analyzed in the tests.)
The ENZA-2 Air Terminal is made mostly of 304 stainless steel, and stands out for its particular aesthetics and small size.
The fundamental advantage of this equipment lies in its high performance behavior and its high resistance to lightning strikes, increasing safety within the standardized coverage radius for a conventional Franklin tip according to NFPA 780 and AEA 92305.
In the development of the ENZA-2 Air Terminal, the objective was to increase safety within the coverage radius of a passive sensor.
As a result, we now have a design with performance that far exceeds that of a conventional Franklin captor, maintaining the coverage area as required by current regulations.

How Does the ENZA-2 Air Terminal Work?
The ENZA-2 Air Terminal is a powerful ionizer of the air in its vicinity.
Its electrometry is designed with 4 electrodes of 300mm length (11.8 inches), which are energized by the natural electrostatic field that is increasing by the activity of the storm cloud approaching the protection zone.
This marks a fundamental difference with respect to other Franklin tip lightning rods.
Generally we don't find in the market Franklin tip lightning rods whose manufacturers perform tests or evaluate the behavior of these equipments in order to develop a product that is safer and more reliable against the danger posed by lightning strikes.
